Certifications

Everyone we send is personally certified.

Not the company holding a certificate on a wall. Each person on the floor is individually screened, trained and qualified for the room they are working in.

Our standards

Why certifications matter

In a live data hall, a single overlooked particle or a careless move around energised equipment can cause real damage. Certifications are not decoration. They prove that a team knows what it is doing, and that every clean meets a measurable standard.

VOG

Certificate of Conduct, extensive screening

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is an official Dutch government document confirming that a person’s background poses no objection for a specific role. RIFCO applies the broadest screening level: our employees are cleared for access to the most critical infrastructure in the Netherlands.

What this means for you

You grant us access to your most sensitive spaces with the assurance that every employee has been government-screened at the highest level. On integrity, RIFCO makes no compromises.

VCA VOL

Contractor safety, full certification

VCA stands for Safety, Health and Environment Checklist for Contractors (Dutch/Belgian standard). The VOL variant (Safety for Operational Managers) is the full certification, not the entry-level version. It is the accepted standard for safe contractor work in the Benelux.

What this means for you

Every RIFCO employee holds individual VCA VOL certification. You can trust our team to work safely in operational environments, without risk to your people or installations.

NEN 3140

Safe working on and near electrical installations

NEN 3140 is the Dutch standard for safe working on, with and near electrical installations. It defines procedures for work in live data halls, UPS rooms and power distribution systems.

What this means for you

Our team is qualified to work safely around energised equipment. You do not need to power down for a clean, and your operation continues uninterrupted.

ESD

Electrostatic discharge protection

ESD training covers proper grounding, the use of antistatic materials, and procedures that prevent static discharge. A single uncontrolled discharge can irreparably damage sensitive electronic components.

What this means for you

All our staff are ESD-trained and work with antistatic equipment and clothing. Your servers, switches and components are protected from static damage throughout the entire cleaning process.

Our equipment & measurement standards

Equipment that proves it

Besides certified employees, we exclusively use equipment that meets the highest industry standards.

Class 8 ≤ 3,520,000 particles ≥ 0.5 µm per m³

ISO 14644-1 · Klasse 8

International air cleanliness standard

When required, RIFCO can verify with a calibrated particle counter that your space actually meets Class 8, the cleanliness level most data halls are held to.

99.995% of all particles ≥ 0.3 µm captured

HEPA 14

Highest practical filtration grade

All our cleaning equipment is fitted with HEPA 14 filters (EN 1822, class H14), the highest practical filtration grade. Dust is captured and carried out, not redistributed, so nothing re-settles on your servers or inside your cooling.
